A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu-alaykum 62 yr 62-year-old teacher. Widowed. Currently living in Canada, but my 2 adult children are living in England. Lived there myself (Nottingham) for 24 years, where I worked as a Further Education lecturer. After a divorce, I moved back to Canada, where I remarried and was widowed after 5 years. Willing to return to the UK only or stay in Canada (Alberta only). I have a mixed ethnic background - Indian/Malay and other. Sadly, I only speak English. I have a sense of humour and enjoy good conversation, including politics. I enjoy trying different cuisines, traveling, reading, cooking, going to markets, walking, and reading documentaries. Play piano and enjoy music like Motown and soul. I attend halalqahs to improve my Islamic knowledge. On a very slow journey of Qur'an memorization.
